Unfortunately this commission was found to be unsatisfactoy to the owner of the boat in the foreground. He found my price
excessive because I was not a "recognized" artist and also compared the size of this work to others which he had
recently bought.
It now hangs in my lounge and brings me great pleasure. It is still for sale, but the price has
increased since I have received a number of offers for it.
It has also gained some small historical significance
in that it shows Simon's Town prior to the devastating bushfire of Jan 2000 which stripped the mountain of almost all vegetation.
